Pre-Requisites:

Participants can attend only Day 2 of this training course if they have recently completed a Provide First Aid course (HLTAID011) within the last 12 months.

Price:

2x Day full course – $380 per person (no GST)

1x Day (Day 2) course – $190 per person (no GST). Please contact our office if you wish to book for Day 2 only.

Course Content: The unit applies to all persons who may be required to provide an advanced first aid response in a range of situations, including community and workplace settings.

• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• Respond to an emergency situation
• Apply appropriate first aid procedures.
• Coordinate first aid activities until the arrival of medical assistance.
• Communicate details of the incident.
• Review the incident.
• Breathing difficulties, allergies and Chest pain
• Shock, wounds and bleeding
• Burns, fractures, soft tissue  and trauma injuries
• Poisons
• Bites and stings
• Heat and cold illness and injury
• operate and use first aid equipment
• Monitor the casualties’ condition
• Coordinate the evacuation of casualties
• Our difference is in our training method, which incorporates mock group scenarios and trainers with real-world experience. Delivery is all face-to-face, and assessment is blended with practical, theory and holistic assessment.
