A word from Matt
I have always been passionate about helping others, which is what initially drew me to a career in nursing. My work included a variety of emergency, ICU and remote area practice settings with a diverse range of healthcare professionals and patients from a wide range of backgrounds.
Throughout my nursing career I developed a curiosity for preventative health. This is what lead me to a career in occupational hygiene and training and ultimately my own business focusing on the key areas for promoting safety – hygiene, health, emergency planning and risk management – all based on industry experience and practicality.
I am now fortunate to direct a team of equally passionate people who care deeply about keeping people safe, whether this is teaching first-aid, high risk work, analysing asbestos in our laboratory or working with clients to monitor hazardous exposures and implement effective controls. I believe we all have a basic right to go home to our families safely at the end of each day, and that is what drives us at HSR Consulting.
