Asbestos Identification
Do you suspect that some materials in your home or workplace may contain asbestos? HSR Consulting operate a modern NATA accredited testing facility at our Hobart office. Sampling and laboratory analysis is the only way to conclusively detect the presence of asbestos. We are able to test all materials, offer a same-day results service and can even accept samples outside of regular office hours.
Air Monitoring
Air monitoring for asbestos is performed to ensure that the area is safe for human occupation. HSR Consulting can conduct independent NATA accredited air monitoring during and after asbestos removal tasks to ensure the area is not contaminated and is fit for use.
Asbestos Registers
An asbestos register is a document that lists all identified (or assumed) asbestos in a workplace, and is intended to ensure workers and others in the workplace do not accidently disturb asbestos. Preparing and maintaining an accurate asbestos register is a legal requirement for workplaces - we specialise in preparing and regularly reviewing these for all types of organisations.
Visual Clearances
Clearance inspections must be undertaken following the removal of any friable asbestos and certain amounts of non-friable asbestos. Our consultants can attend your site and visually inspect the area from which asbestos has been removed. Once the area has been inspected to ensure that the asbestos has been remove, we can issue you with a legal clearance certificate.
HSR Consulting is accredited by the National Association of Testing Authorities, Australia (NATA) for Asbestos Fibre Identification, Asbestos Fibre Counting and Volume Measurement (Air).
